Get Creative

Relating to yesterdays post about not getting the shot I wanted to go out today and prove to my self that I can nail it. Yesterday while skiing somebody hit my truck at the ski hill. Luckily I found the man who did it. This morning I had to deal with getting my truck fixed. So I was on the phone with insurance company's until about 2. I just wanted to go skiing and get a good shot of my cousin. I got on the lift at about 2:30. Looking at the new park setup I wanted to get some old tricks down again. I decided the last run of the day to pull out the good ole 8 megapixel Canon SD1100 IS and get the shot. I ended up shooting the whole run and came up with some cool shots.

Almost

My friend Nick wanted me to take a shot of his new handplant. I was up for the task. It being the last run of the day I knew it was do or die. This time it turned out not the best. All photographers and everybody else knows what it is like to almost get it.

The Moment

Everbody has that moment in their trick or whatever they are doing where they realize its not going to be good from this point. I was shooting a couple friends today and I got this great shot of Nick Burnham ejecting from his skis and in the middle of the oh s#$% moment.

Drive Home

My family always goes up to Sun Valley during the week between Christmas and New Years. This year my brother and I wanted to get back early to enjoy Pebble Creek's new snow.(Pebble Creek is my home mountain). So we set out on our journey through the Arco desert because the interstate was closed. The road wasn't great at all. It was very diverse in its way of being dry as a bone, to being blocked in with drifts so big you couldn't determine where the road is. Me being in the passenger seat I got bored and took out the camera and snapped a few pictures.
